top congressional lawmakers wrapped up a meeting with president obama at the white house. among the leaders, republican house speaker john boehner and senate minority leader mitch mcconnell. harry reid and nancy pelosi were there. steve chenevey live on capitol hill right now. >> that meeting at the white house lasted just a little more than an hour. they started at 3:10 and were done by 4:15. no major decisions were made. president, reportedly telling congressional leadership, if you do not have a better plan than i do by now, we need to get to voting on my plan. the clock is still ticking in advance of monday night's deadline. frustration being felt not just inside the capitol, but i constituents outside as well. >> i am a little worried about the future as well, for my kids mostly. >> it is a popular thought outside the capital. >> there is an understandable frustration. >> chris van hull and is hopeful a deal can be reached by tuesday, although it will likely be a smaller deal that addresses only the major parts of the fiscal cliff from taking effect. >> we have got to
